Coaches Hall of Fame: Brad Hildebrandt

After an impressive career as a wrestler for UNO where he was a three time All-American and a two time Academic All-American, Brad Hildebrandt has been the Omaha Skutt Catholic Coach from the start.  Hildebrandt’s teams have won an unprecedented 13 straight Class B team titles.  During his tenure the Skyhawks have produced 143 state qualifiers, 107 state medalist and an amazing 52 State Champions.  He has a 131-17 dual record, and his teams have won numerous tournament titles. 

Besides his duties coaching at Omaha Skutt Catholic, Brad coaches the Nebraska Junior and Cadet USA National Teams,  He is a member of the UNO Athletic Hall of Fame.  He was the 2005 Omaha World Herald Coach of the Year, the 2009 USA Wrestling Magazine National Coach of the Year., and he has been an NSWCA All-Star assistant coach.  According to fellow coach Marty McCurdy of Lincoln East, “Brad has turned Omaha Skutt not into just the most dominant wrestling program in the state,  but one of the state’s most dominant programs in any sport.”  Brad is being introduced by friend and former teammate, Ron Higdon.
