Hall of Fame – 2011

While wrestling for Elgin Public Schools Jeremy Poulsen compiled a 129-19 record. In the process he earned 4
state medals. In 1999 he was the class D 125 lbs. state champion, in 1998 he earned the 112 lb. title and in
1997 he was the 103 lb. champion. His freshman year he placed 5th at 103 lbs. He was a 4 time finalist in the
D-2 districts and earned the title 3 times. He still shares the class D state record for most fall during a career at
the state tournament with 10. After High School, he served in the Army National Guard for 8 years & graduated
college in Utility Line. He has worked for Nebraska Public Power District for 6 years and is currently the Local
Manager in Tilden, Oakdale & Meadow Grove. He lives in Tilden with his wife, Jenna & their one year old
daughter, Gentry. They also have another daughter on the way, due the end of June. He is being introduced by
his high school wrestling assistant coach Carlie Wells.
