The first Class B wrestler to earn three state titles. His first came at 138 in ’61 and titles at 145 in ’62 and ’63. He was a four year letter winner for Cozad and finished his senior season with the school’s first perfect record at 20-0.

Mr. Schneider could be a great example to kids today as he returned to school to get his college education after a six and a half year layoff when he realized the importance of education. He taught at an Northeast Elementary in Kearney before moving to Gibbon where he teaches fourth grade. He has assisted with many kids programs and has also assisted at the high school level at Gibbon.
