Hall of Fame – 2010

Steven Ott was a 3 time finalist and 2 time champion for Wisner-Pilger, finishing with just one loss his last two seasons.  He was selected the most valuable wrestler in Class C in 1991 and was elected to wrestle in the NSWCA All-Star dual his senior year.  He was a two time Academic All-State selection  by the NSWCA and Lincoln Journal-Star.  He wrestled for Kearney State for two seasons before finishing his degree at Wayne State.  He was just the fourth athlete in school history to earn 12 varsity letters. 

He has continued to stay involved in wrestling serving as Wisner-Pilger’s assistant coach for two years and continuing to help with the kid’s club wrestling program.  Steven is being introduced by his former coach, Gordon Bye.
