Crete

Theodore Reehl was a 3 time State medalist for Crete High School earning runner up honors his junior year and championship honors his senior year, he was Crete’s first state champion.  After compiling a 67-12 career record, and being a member of the Nebraska exchange team to Germany, Reehl went to UNO where he earned freshman of the year honors after compiling a 22-6 record in 1980-1981.  After his freshman season he transferred to Kearney State where he earned All-American honors  in 1982 finishing 8th in NAIA and was the NAIA runner up in 1984 capping off an career record of 55-11. 

He continues to be involved in wrestling coaching youth programs in Kearney and at Norris for 13 years and assisting with the Norris High School program for six years.  His biggest thrill is watching his sons compete and place at the Nebraska State High School Tourney.  Theodore is being introduced by his coach and friend, Jay Rodenbough.
