Hall of Fame – 2002
Jack worked 17 years as a high school official. In addition, due to his love and interest in the sport, he spent time working with the Little Kids Program, the Norfolk Catholic Program, and was an assistant at Columbus High School. Jack was a State Champ at 119 pounds in South Dakota in 1976. He attended the University of South Dakota at Springfield where he wrestled all four years. He was active with the NSAA, and was chosen to Who’s Who in college and also went to Nationals 3 years. His biggest thrill, in addition to his three daughters and attending their events, was officiating at the 2000 State Tournament. Jack’s plaque is presented to his wife, Connie, by his close friends, Mike Lenihan and Dan Machtenberg.
