Officials Hall of Fame: Todd Parr

Hall of Fame – 2013

Todd is a 1987 graduate of Clearwater High School in Northeastern Nebraska. His career in wrestling began as a member of the high school team but ambitions of continuing in the sport turned to coaching when he headed to college. Todd graduated from the University of Nebraska-Kearney with a Bachelor of Arts degree in education with the goal of teaching social sciences and coaching wrestling. However, that path was altered when Todd accepted a position outside of education.  It was at this point when Todd decided to become a wrestling official, which would allow him to be a part of a sport he loved. Todd began his officiating career in 1992. He has officiated 16 district tournaments and 4 state tournaments.  In 2004, Todd was selected as the Official of the Year by the West Nebraska Wrestling Official organization and was also name Official of the Year in 2008 and 2011 by the WSWCA.  He is the current president of the WNWO and Gibbon Ball Association.  Todd still remains active in Nebraska wrestling as a wrestling official observer for the NSAA. Todd makes his home in Gibbon, NE with his wife, Kasey, and 3 children: Emilee, 20, Addison, 13 and Nolan, 11.  He is being introduced by fellow official Steve Faber.
